BJ The Chicago Kid, released the music video for his new hit song, “It’s True,” featuring rapper, SchoolBoy Q, on thefader.com. “It’s True” represents the two artists’ first effort since the success of their chart topping single, “Studio,” which recently received a Grammy nomination for best rap/sung collaboration. The track, will be available for purchase starting, today, December 23rd, 2014, via all digital retailers.

“It’s True,” was initially a hidden track on BJ’s new body of work, The M.A.F.E. Project, which came out last month as a free download on BJ’s website, bjtck.com. However, demand for the track has been so high, it has resulted in organic radio spins from outlets like SiriusXM and culminated with a live studio performance on Revolt’s television program Revolt Live on Thursday, December 18th, 2014. Now fans will have the opportunity to purchase the song, which showcases BJ’s vocals like you have never heard before. On “It’s True,” BJ delivers heartfelt and emotive lyrics about how delicate life can be, through spoken word.
